OUR VALUES

The following Values (accompanied by proof texts from the Bible) are to be held by all Christian congregations that accept donations from King of Kingsmen:

Jesus is the Messiah. Matthew 16:15-20

​

Jesus was born into the world through the miracle of the Virgin Birth. Luke 1:34-35

​

Jesus is both completely man and completely God. 1 Timothy 2:5, John 1:14, Colossians 2:9

​

Jesus is God. John 1:1, Romans 9:5

​

Jesus, is the Name above all Names, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. Philippians 2:9, Revelation 19:16

​

Jesus was physically on Earth. John 1:14, 1 John 4:2

​

Jesus literally performed many healings and miracles on Earth. John 20:30

​

Jesus never sinned, even though He was tempted in every way. Hebrews 4:15

​

Jesus was unjustly condemned and He died on the Cross. Matthew 27:24-26, Mark 15:37, Mark 15:45

​

Jesus Resurrected from the dead on the third day. Matthew 28:6-9

​

Jesus ended the ceremonial requirements of the Old Covenant. Hebrews 10:9

​

Jesus alone can provide salvation through faith in Him. John 3:16, John 14:6

​

Jesus forgives all sins when someone repents in His Name. Hebrews 10:12, Acts 3:19

​

Sin is transgression against the Lord and His law, which includes (but is not limited to) homosexuality, fornication, and abortion (except to save the life of the mother). Romans 1:26-29, Galatians 5:19, Proverbs 6:16-17, Matthew 22:32, Philippians 1:21-22, Isaiah 44:24, Luke 1:41–44

Marriage is only between one man and one woman. Matthew 19:4-5

​

Divorce is not a part of God’s original intention for marriage and is only allowed for instances of unfaithfulness (adultery), and when an unbelieving spouse demands so. Matthew 19:6-9, 1 Corinthians 7:15

​

As Jesus is the Head of the Church (His bride), men are to be the heads of the congregations that meet to worship and honor His Name (the head pastor position and church elder positions). 1 Timothy 2:12-13, Ephesians 5:23,
1 Timothy 3:1-2, Titus 1:6

​

Neither man nor women are superior, for God makes both genders in His hands and in His Image; all are equal under God. Genesis 1:27, Romans 16:3, Galatians 3:28

​

Faith in Jesus produces good works. Romans 7:4, Philippians 2:13

​

The Holy Spirit is given to us as a gift from the Father and is active in believers. John 14:16-26

​

The Church is the body of believers. 1 Corinthians 12:12, 1 Corinthians 12:27

​

God’s Word is the ultimate authority, placing no trust or credibility in any man-made traditions or philosophies. Titus 1:9-14

​

The Bible, composed of the Old Testament (the books in the Hebrew Scriptures) and the New Testament, is God’s Word, and is inspired, perfect, contains no errors, and is alive and powerful. 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 3:15-16,
Hebrews 4:12

​

At true repentance, a person is born again with a new spirit (from the Holy Spirit, Who indwells in that person).
John 3:3-6, Galatians 5:16, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 1:13

​

God is One. Mark 12:29-34

​

God is perfect and holy, and He is worthy of our praise and obedience. Matthew 5:48, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Romans 1:25

​

The Devil is real and looks for people to devour (turning people from God). Ephesians 6:16, 1 Peter 5:8

​

Hell (the Lake of Fire) is real, and is where the Devil, his demons, and those who reject Jesus will be cast. Revelation 20:10-15, Revelation 21:8

​

Jesus will return to judge the world and every individual, and to reign as Everlasting King of the New Heavens and New Earth. 2 Timothy 4:1, Hebrews 1:8-9, Revelation 20:12, Revelation 21:1-10

​

God is constant and never changes, and He cannot sin. Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 1:12, Titus 1:2

​

Believers must remain in Jesus and His love, and they will remain as His disciples. John 15:4-10, Philippians 4:1,
1 Corinthians 15:1-2

​

Believers in Jesus will be persecuted by this world. Matthew 5:11-12, John 15:20

​

Believers in Jesus are not promised a wealthy or comfortable life on Earth. Mark 1:6, Acts 12:2

​

God is the Creator of all and knows all. John 1:1-5, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 John 3:20

​

The Lord God is the most powerful being in all of existence. Luke 1:37, Job 42:1-2, Ephesians 1:19-20

​

Any other “god” besides the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is false. Jeremiah 13:25, Joshua 2:9-11, Acts 3:13,
1 Corinthians 1:14-15

​

God created humankind with a free will and allows every person to make choices. Genesis 3:6, John 2:23-25,
John 7:17-18

​

All of our resources belong to God, and believers must be good stewards of them. 1 Corinthians 10:26,
1 Timothy 6:17-19

​

Christians must hate all sin but love all sinners and desperately want everyone to find Jesus. Galatians 6:1, Jude 22-23

​

Everyone is a sinner and everyone needs Jesus. 1 John 1:8, 2 Peter 3:9

​

Communion and water baptism are Godly ordinances that serve to bring unity to the Church and to provide public testimony of our salvation by Jesus Christ. Luke 22:17-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Matthew 28:18-19

​

Believers have an obligation to seek unity with other believers and to pray for one another. Philippians 2:2,
Ephesians 4:3, 1 Timothy 2:1, 1 Peter 3:8

​

Believers are tasked to bring the Good News of Salvation to the world; anyone is welcome to ask God for repentance and become a follower of Jesus. Matthew 28:19-20, Philippians 1:12
